Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs


Eggs: 6 large
Cottage Cheese: 2 cups (about 450 grams)
Sharp Cheddar Cheese: grated 1 cup (about 100 grams)
Parmesan Cheese: grated 1/ 4 cups (
Flour: 1/4 cup (about 30 grams)
Butter: 2 tablespoons (about 30 ml), melted
Baking powder: 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
Salt: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) )
Chopped green onions: 1/4 cup (about 25 grams)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Red pepper flakes: For garnish (optional)


Preheat and prepare:
Heat oven to 350°. Fahrenheit (175℃). Grease a 9-by-9-inch baking dish.
Mix the base:
In a large mixing bowl, mix the eggs until smooth. Add cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, melted butter, baking powder, and salt and stir until well combined.
Add flavor:
Stir in the chopped green onions. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake the dish:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
Garnish and Serve:
Let the dish cool slightly before cutting. Garnish with fresh parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes, if desired.
