Ingredients:
1 pound egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup butter
Finely chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish of 9×13 inches and leave it alone.
Follow the instruction on the package to cook the egg noodles until al dente; put aside after being drained.
In a big mixing bowl, mix well ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onions, minced garlic, nutmeg salt and pepper.
Form meatballs with small balls of the mixture of about an inch in diameter.Spread them over a baking sheet which has been lined with parchment paper.
Brown the balls in an oven heated at around 15-20 minutes
Melt the butter using a medium high heat saucepan. Add flour into it to make a roux which should be cooked for about one or two minutes till light golden brown color is attained.
